Throughout the year, the Young Canadians of the Calgary Stampede make appearances at special community functions in support of local organizations, charities and events.   These appearances are part of the Calgary Stampede Foundation, the Calgary Stampede and the Young Canadians'  involvement in our community.

The cast have participated in special appearances at the Alberta Childrens' Hospital, contributed to the Mustard Seed and do numerous performances for the Rotary Club of Calgary.

In September 2009, our cast will be working with WorldSkills Calgary 2009 in presenting the Opening Ceremonies at the Stampede Grandstand on September 1, 2009 (a ticketed event), The Closing Ceremony, at the Stampede Corral, and again at the Celebration of Worldskills Champions at the CFL labour Day Classic at McMahon Stadium.
